‘Powerhouse of talent’ Ranveer Singh enjoys a massive fan base worldwide. His fans often get excited seeing him and throng the actor for selfies. A similar thing happened during the red carpet of the star-studded SIIMA Awards 2022, held in Bengaluru on Sunday night. Just when the Simmba actor made a smashing entry, it became a mob-like situation with fans thronging him and shouting for pictures. During this chaos, one of the fans accidentally hit Ranveer in the face, however, he escaped unhurt.
A video of the same has gone viral on social media. In the clip, the 83 actor is seen mobbed by fans for selfies. He obliged the request of some of his young fans and clicked photos with them. The unexpected entry of Ranveer caused a chaotic situation with fans thronging him to get a glimpse of the actor. In no time, excited fans created a mob-like situation despite heavy security. And, as a repercussion of this, Ranveer accidentally got hit in the face by a fan, however, he did not lose his cool as he stayed calm. The Gully Boy actor looked dapper in a white tuxedo that he styled with stylish shades at the starry award ceremony which was attended by a who's who of south industry such as Kamal Haasan, Allu Arjun, Yash, Vijay Deverakonda, Pooja Hegde, Shalini Pandey, and others.
Notably, Ranveer Singh was honoured with the 'Most Loved Hindi Actor in South Industry' award 10th Edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA). In his speech, the handsome actor said, “I’m overwhelmed with gratitude to be able to do this, just to be an artist. I get to do what I love to do for a living. It's because of your love and acceptance, so thank you all.”
Ranveer had also recently won the Best Actor award for his sports film 83 at the 67th Wolf777news Filmfare Awards 2022.
